Working with a new therapist can feel… strange. I’m basically a complete stranger you’re potentially trusting to help navigate some of your most significant life challenges. So to start, let me tell you a little bit about myself.

I’m a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker serving Rhode Island and Massachusetts with over 10 years of hands-on experience ranging from short-term crisis intervention to clinical diagnostics to insurance coverage management to long-term outpatient psychotherapy. Additionally, I’m a Rhode Island native and alum of both Providence College and Rhode Island College; receiving my Bachelor of Social Work from the former and my Master of Social Work from the latter. Prior to opening my practice, I worked for years in hospital settings such as Butler Hospital and Rhode Island Hospital.

My approach is designed to consider the biological, psychological, and environmental components contributing to your current situation. Once we have a solid understanding of what’s happening and why, we can create a specific plan of action that aligns with your identified goals and values.
